A few things you may be wondering.
Do I need to own a luxury watch?
No. Every watch and experience level is welcome, including people who do not own a watch. Curiosity and consideration for others matter here.
Is membership really free?
Yes. Individual dinners, workshops or trips may have their own costs. Those costs and cancellation terms must be clear before you make a commitment.
What can I explore before becoming a member?
At launch, visitors will be able to read the Journal, explore learning resources and see gathering previews. Applications require email verification and approval before member reservations and introduction requests become available. Recruitment is currently closed.
Can I come by myself?
Absolutely. You do not need to arrive with a friend or a collection. The host will welcome newcomers and help people meet one another. Bring a question or a watch story if you would like.
What if I do not drink?
Alcohol-free options are part of the program, and no one is expected to drink. Any tastings will be optional, with the format stated in advance.
Can I bring a guest?
One adult guest can be requested in advance, subject to approval, rules acceptance and available space. Wait for a confirmed place before bringing anyone. Under-18 guests require a separate advance approval and a parent or guardian at an eligible event without alcohol.
Are dealer introductions guaranteed?
No. Approved members can request an introduction to an authorized retailer or boutique. A suitable contact, consent and approval are required. An introduction does not promise availability, preferential treatment or an allocation.
Can the society help me sell a watch?
Approved members can request a private introduction for an outright sale, trade-in or consignment. Each request receives an individual review. The recipient and sharing permission must be confirmed before an introduction. Neither the society nor its introducer charges or receives an introduction fee or commission. You and the recipient handle the transaction and any recipient charges directly. There is no public watch listing.
Will my collection or contact details be visible?
There is no member directory or public collection profile. We do not ask for collection values. Taking a person’s photograph and publishing it require separate permission.
